ReachMD Broadcasts First Live Interactive Accredited Medical Education (CME/CE) Program for Medical Professionals on November 16, 2009.

ReachMD, one of the nations newest and fastest growing media communications platforms for medical professionals, will premiere the first live interactive accredited medical education (CME/CE) program on November 16th, 2009, via its network of distribution channels, including ReachMD's national XM Satellite Radio Channel 160.


This new broadcast series is a partnership with North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) who is sponsoring the series of four interviews; Deep Vein Thrombosis in Focus: Expert Perspectives on Reducing the Burden of Venous Thromboembolism. This series is CME/CE-accredited for physicians, pharmacists, and nurses by NACCME, and is supported by an educational grant from sanofi-aventis U.S. This live program series is designed for hospital-based and other physicians and allied healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients at-risk for VTE.

For the first time ever, participants will be able to listen to the CME/CE broadcast live on XM 160, on ReachMD.com and on ReachMD's new MedicalRadio iPhone App. Participation in this activity is FREE.
